Articles of Faith
- We Believe in the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We believe He is the one true and living G-d.
We believe G-d is one, Echad (a unity), eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
as expressed in the “Sh’ma” (Deuteronomy 6:4) and reaffirmed by Mashiach Yeshua (Jesus the Messiah)
in Mark 12:28 and John 10:20.

- We Believe that all Scriptures, consisting of the Tanakh and B’rit Chadasha (the Old and
New Covenants), which make up the Bible, are the inspired Word of G-d. We believe they are
without error in the original writings and are complete revelation of G-d’s will for the redemption of
mankind. The Bible is our final authority for faith and halacha (our walk).
(Cf. Jeremiah 31:31, Proverbs 3, Matthew 5:17-18, II Timothy 3:16-17).

- We Believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Son of G-d and the promised Mashiach (Messiah)of
Israel as foretold in the Tanakh and recorded in the B’rit Chadash. As such He is fully G-d and fully man
having been conceived by the Ruach haKodesh and born of the virgin Miryam (Mary), who was the seed of David.
We believe that He died as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures (Psalm 22, Isaiah 53, I Peter 2:24);
that He was resurrected bodily from the dead after three nights and three days (Psalm 16:10-11, Matthew 12:39-40);
that He ascended into heaven, where at the right hand of the Father, He exists as our Cohen haGadol (High Priest)

- We Believe in the Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit), was sent forth from the Father and the Son
to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all
who believe in Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah)(John 16:7-11). We believe He is the comforting Counselor
who indwells every believer and guides us into all truth (John 16:7&13). We believe in the present ministry of the
Ruach haKodesh and the exercise of all the biblical spirirtual gifts and manifestations of the Ruach haKodesh
(Romans 12, I Corinthians 12).

- We Believe that man was created in the image of G-d but fell into sin and therefore, is separated
from G-d. It is only through regeneration by the Ruach haKodesh for those who repent of their sins and confess
Yeshua as Messiah and L-rd that mankind can come into a right and personal relationship with G-d
(Genesis 1:26-27, Isaiah 53:6, Romans 5:12, Ephesians 2:4-7).

- We Believe that the atonement provided by the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of
Yeshua HaMashiach is the only provision for justification and salvation (John 14:6, Acts 1:9). This redemption is
wholly the work of G-d’s free grace and not the work of man or a result of human goodness, works, or religious
ceremony. It is a free gift of G-d that is simply received by personal faith in Yeshua HaMashiach
(John 1:12; 3:4-7, Romans 3:10-23).

- We Believe in the universal body of believers, a living spiritual body, of which Messiah is the head
or spiritual source. The body is composed of all who have come to faith in Messiah, both the Jewish person and the
non-Jewish person (gentile) who have been regenerated or born again from above, by the Ruach haKodesh
(John 3:3, Ephesians 3:1-7, I Corinthians 12:13).

- We believe that Messiah comes to earth and dwells with us, a.k.a. the coming of Messiah. We believe the
Scriptures describe two comings of Messiah. The first to make atonement for sin (Daniel 9:24-29, Isaiah 53,
Romans 3:21-31, Hebrews 9&10, John 3:16-17). The second coming of Messiah will be to receive the believers-
His bride – to Himself (I Thessalonians 4:13-18, John 14:1-6). He shall come to Zion and will provide for Israel’s
complete redemption.

- We believe in the ultimate bodily resurrection of mankind. The redeemed are destined to everlasting life
in the presence of the L-rd and the lost to everlasting contempt and outer darkness
(Daniel 12:2-3, John 5:21-29, Revelation 20:11-15).

- We believe that Israel and all believers are called to be a light to the nations (Exodus 19:6,Matthew 5:14).
We believe that those who are not of the household of Israel (wild branches of the olive tree) can be
grafted into the commonwealth of Israel (the olive tree) by faith (Romans 11, Ephesians 2). As gentiles,
therefore, we bind ourselves to the children of Israel (the Jewish people), as did our ancestor Ruth
(Ruth 1:16-17, Zechariah 8:23).

- We believe that Jewish people, when they come to faith in their Messiah Yeshua, continue to be Jewish
and can maintain their Jewish identity, culture and practices, especially including a Torah observant lifestyle.

- We believe that non-Jewish believers in Yeshua (Jesus) are invited, encouraged and permitted to
follow a Torah-submissive lifestyle and to outwardly express their passion for, connection to, the believing
remnant of Israel (Isaiah 56:1-8) Living the Torah is a major part of what it means to “take hold” of our
inheritance with Israel.

- We believe it is important for all believers (both Jewish and non-Jewish) to follow G-d’s appointed
times and commandments (mo’adim and mitzvot). This is not to obtain redemption or better secure salvation but
is rather a way of demonstrating our love for, and fellowship with, the L-rd (John 14:15 & 15:14). Living
(or not living) Torah is also the condition for blessings (or curses)(Deuteronmy 28-30, Matthew 5:17-19).

- We believe G-d established the Shabbat (Sabbath) on the 7th day and that it has never moved or
changed since (Genesis 2:2-3). We believe the Shabbat is a sign, like a wedding ring, of our marriage to the L-rd
(Exodus 31:12-17). We believe that when Shabbats are properly observed, all the fullness of Hebrews 4 and
Isaiah 58 is reemphasized, and time is set aside to practice walking out who we are as believers in Yeshua and as
a new creation, holy community.
